Hey Kiddos!
Whew! Today was the last day in which we could redeem the Barnes & Noble Birthday Coupon for a cookie and we made it. The coupons were good for 30 days and today was the 30th day. What took so long? I suppose I didn't want to get on US 22 late at night after school especially during rush hour but hey....the GPS said that it was only a 15 minute drive from school to B&N and 15 minutes it was.
What I really enjoyed about the night was that you guys wanted to hang out at B&N and check out some books. I read you "Who Ate My Cake" and you guys explored some Find and Seek books while I wandered about closely. I saw Brian Tracy's "Eat That Frog" and a book on weight loss by Rocco DiSpirito which I mean to look up online. There's no point in buying books (sad to say) when everything can be found online these days.
So, it appears that the cookie filled you up and, being the awesome parent that I am, that pretty much was your dinner. Once we got home, I offered you this and that to eat but you seemed content to nibble on a thing or two and that worked for me.
